Kyle's obviously working furiously in the background, and it's hard to keep track of what all's going on. Post improvements you see being made here.

(And yes, I'm in a thread starting mood these days.)

-Thread starters are now in the old, familiar yellow color.
-A "donate" button has appeared on the top menu bar, though it doesn't quite seem to work yet. (It's in EUR and sends payments to a null address.)

The donate button now works, and I now sent in my first donation. Huzzah!

I also noticed for a minute or two there was a gizmo that popped up above the list of forums that said something like "here's our donation goal for the month, and here's how much has been donated." If he can get that working, that'd be pretty cool.

I just installed a mobile theme. If you want to test it from your phones or an emulator ( http://mtld.mobi/emulator.php?webaddress=chiefsplanet.com%2FBB&emulator=sonyK750&Submit=Submit ) feel free. In theory it will autodetect if you are using a phone and use the stripped down theme.

Any way to change the colors perhaps?

LOL

Ok then.... I'll periodically check it but will avoid it until the color scheme settles down.

On the other hand, it loaded up smoothly and very quickly. a great improvement over past browing on the Planet via my mobile. :D

Looks pretty cool.

One thing - right now that theme shows up under the "theme chooser" in the bottom-left. Unfortunately, if you change it to the mobile theme on a PC, it's pretty tough to get out of. I'm sure there's a setting in there somewhere to change it back, but I had to just hit back until I was back to the original theme, then change it using the usual menu.

Any way to remove that theme as an option for PC users?

Nope - it's gone. I don't have a phone to test whether it still works that way, but at least we won't have people getting stuck in mobile phone mode.

If you're in the mood to play with plugins, you should check out FlashChat for vBulletin. From what I can tell, it integrates directly into vBulletin so that people can just use their usual usernames in there. Some of the plugins can also show "xx people are in the chat room" in our software if we wanted it to.

I just stumbled across a thread about it here (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=143840) and thought it might be cool now that we're on a server that can handle it.

Oh, and I'd be glad to pay for this if your or morphius can get it up and running.
