Looks like good teams actually have a plan and do what it takes to get the job done. Lilja signs a FIVE year deal with the Colts.

Yep ... both of you are correct!!! Plus, they were able to identify talent in the first place and sign him.

Just one more piece of the puzzle as to why Kingless should be dethroned quickly. Course, the Allen evidence is most damaging against him.

Just because Ryan Lilja would've been an awesome talented young backup when Waters and Shields weren't sucking so hard because Roaf was still there doesn't mean he'll make a good starter by just plugging him in. He's definitely the weak link on that Colts offensive line, even below Ugoh, the inexperienced LT.

Some team will overpay for him. I hope it's not us.

it all comes down to the GM and Personal dept for the chiefs .... they suck, so we suck.

i don't know that Lilja is "all that" but i think history shows that we continue to suck pretty hard ... we are talking "Gretz" hard.

He's the guy at guard I have on my wish list.

Not the guard I wanted, because he would have to learn the right guard spot here in KC.
