View Full Version : New Feature: Ignore Thread (AKA Gaz Feature)

It has been a long time coming, but I was able to get Austin to get it installed, and its pretty slick. Which is good, 'cause if he didn't I would have had to.

Sadly you do have to open the thread, but then just click on the "Thread Tools" drop down and chose "Ignore this Thread" and it disappears completely from view.

To bring it back you just click on "User CP" and on the left side select "Ignored Threads", then select which ones you want to bring back.

I figured this feature was worthy of its own thread.

Thank you very much. I'm sure this will prevent additional threads being created in order to bitch about threads that someone doesn't want to see.
Although, personally if I want to ignore a thread I just...well....I just ignore it.

Nice feature. I wish something could also be done with slang words and\or phrases in the thread descriptions. Perhaps just have them "auto re-write(?)" like so many other names and words are already.

You guys have been doing some kick ass work on this site. You've come a long way from the days of your beginning, when you were just a little penal colony comprised of scoff laws who couldn't abide by the oppressive rules of the Star.

Been using it and I love it. No more wrestling or soccer threads for me. And as I have no interest in basketball, it will probably make next month much less annoying.
