I want to complain about all the whistles, but then no matter how I say it, it'll be taken as 'spin'. I hate college basketball when the refs don't let them play, and the first 10 minutes was the worst basketball I've ever watched. It's why I hate the Big 10... the games always seem to be closely reffed, and it's boring as hell. When you throw in what seemed like twice as many commercial breaks than ESPN, it was a complete abortion.

But, since that'll be taken as "the refs lost the game for Kansas", I might as well say.... the refs lost the game for Kansas. :p

Seriously, are you really this stupid ? Sure KU played poorly, but because of OSU playing well enough, they won. The other team has to play well enough to win, that is allways the case. FTR, somebody is always going to win, the law of averages will point to the team that has the better players as winning most of the time. There are exceptions to the rule that the best team doesn't always win. For that reason alone, you always give the other team the credit for the win, they played well enough to win.

Ok St played well enough to win, but neither team played "well." Ok St certainly outplayed us. They're not a more talented team, though. Same goes for Bucknell and Bradley. They played well enough to win on those days. Certainly outplayed KU. That doesn't un-win all the good wins in those seasons or this one. Although, this season's list of "good wins" is pathetically short.

Funny you mention Bradley, because after that loss it was all the Mizzou fans around here talking about 'the huge choke', while it was me trying to explain that maybe Bradley had something to do with it given they had also beaten Pittsburgh.

Yeah, and they'll probably get the 1 seed unless they lose early in the B12 tournament and Kansas plays in the Championship game. If they play each other, it'll probably go to Texas since it's always one of the late games on Selection Sunday.

Oh well, I'd rather be matched with #1 [ACC team] in Detroit or Houston than be matched with #2 UCLA in Phoenix.

I love KU football and have supported the team through thick and thin; I still remember my ass freezing to the bleachers when KSU beat us 64-0 at home. Our fanbase needed a while to come around after the Terry Allen era and is simply not used to equating our football team with success. Hell, we basically fielded a DII team with the way he recruited. Nice guy, but a horrible coach.
