That was the unofficial time. Officially, it was a 4.33. Chris Johnson ran an official 4.24

Who is the fastest man in the NFL?

I think it's hilarious how 40 time is so important at Combine time but how many of the 40 champions become superstars at the next level?

I'm not saying speed isn't important but there's a lot of other intangibles that are moreso important.

Who is the fastest man in the NFL?

Who cares?

You don't know do you?

How would you quantify it? The NFL fastest man race exhibit at the pro-bowl? There's only 5 or 6 competitors in that event. Who is left out?

Is it Combine 40 time? Who knows?

The week after the Pro Bowl they invite players (PB and non-PB'ers) to the QB challenge in Kauai for different skills competitions. This is when they run the race to determine the fastest player.

Isn't it generally somebody different every year, though?

How about a 260lbs Gholston tying Jake Long in the bench?

Jeez. Dustin Keller at TE is better than most of the WRs in the workouts.

For example, Darrell Green played in the NFL 20 years. He's a 4-time winner of the NFL's fastest man contest, being undefeated in each outing. Yet, what happened the other 16 years? Who was actually the fastest in those years, since he didn't compete. Who else doesn't compete.

And let's not forget that McFadden can play defense too!

Can he run that fast AND hang on to the ball?

Dude had 30+ fumbles in 3 years at Arkansas.

I hope this is enough to solidify him as a top 4 pick.

Maybe we can set up a bidding war, if he falls to us.

I'm not sure that Damion McIntosh has EVER been invited.

along with Steve Bono, even though at one time he had the longest QB run for a TD in the NFL.

I remember Deangelo Hall and Brian Moorman (yes the punter from BUF) being in the fastest man competition. A 46 yr old Darrell Green was also in the race and I don't think he finished last, that guy can still fly.

hopefully.

impressive that he is that strong, bu still give Jake props because he unofficially lifed 38, and has far longer arms (which makes it tougher).

Ellis lifted 34x
laws lifted 35x

I"ll give Joke Long props just as soon as you unwrap your lips from his unit.
