I've been reading this site for a while and know their NFL sources are very good -- much better than you'd expect from a smaller, independent site........But even the remote possibility that our Chiefs are thinking about trading for a scrub like JP Losman bothers me!

Weird thing is, I was lobbying for the Chiefs to pick Trent Edwards last year ~oouch~

JP Losman and Brodie Croyle are like clones of each other...

Only if Lee Evans comes with him.

I'd take him for a 5th.

That site also said we're going after Brohm and going to get Flozell Adams.

Awful lot of info...guess we'll see. ;)

Id rather use that pick and draft a fresh QB with it.

We already know that Losman isnt a franchise QB.

We already know that Losman isnt a franchise QB.But he could be better than Croyle. The guy does have potential. A 5th isn't really giving up much.

I'd rather see us grab a guy like Losman than another high priced vet retread with 2 or 3 years left.

You're not going to get a franchise QB in the 5th anyway, unless you just get supremely lucky.

Ive already seen Losman in KC before. He was named Steve Bono and Elvis Grbac. No thanks.

Yep, we need another former bills starter to be a clipboard toter for us long term

A young guy to compete with Croyle would make more sense than an aging vet who's expensive. IMO

For a fifth rounder? If for no other reason than to....give Brodie some serious "competition and/or provide a competent backup?"

Sounds about like a Carl move to me. :hmmm:

or wasting another draft pick on a qb. People want to develop a qb but don't want to give him the time to do so..yet nobody wants another FA qb because they think you can't build a franchise with one, which you can. Many teams have won superbowls w/ a qb they traded for or signed through free agency.

But this organization, we are told, is no longer just Carl....

In this Losman scenario, we would be "wasting" a draft pick on a QB, just one with wear on his tires.

Just about everything, from talent, to the way they look, to the way they talk..you could switch their jerseys and I'm not sure you could tell them apart.
