NFT: Networking Groups

Just curious if anyone here has ever been a member of a Networking group such as BNI or any other group like that and what your experiance was with that group and whether it worth the money, time and effort?

If you are not familier with BNI and are interested or might could benefit from a networking group see what you think and maybe we can discuss our findings.

I was in a BNI group and the philosophy is great but the group I belonged to was mostly whiners and it failed in the end. I would consider it again if I felt like the group was made up of people I would actually do business with. That's the part of the concept I don't really follow. If I don't feel that I would do business with you then I'm not sending anyone to you no matter what group you're in, that's just me. I think that rubbed some people the wrong way.
