I keep hearing this.

Explain yourself, nutcases.

I'm with you, especially after they just re-signed Fargas.

The only semi-logical explanation I can give is that Al Davis has always been infatuated with speedsters.

That, and he's a ****ing idiot.

Because they are the Raiders and Al Davis is calling the shots

Magic 8 ball says this is the likely scenario.

Fargas getting injured (again) probably points to him not being a full-load back. Even at USC he split carries 3 ways. Still there are a lot of needs that Oakland needs to address.

With Michael Bush, Justin Fargas, Lamont Jordan and Dominic Rhodes in the fold....I just don't see it happening.

Well sure hope they don't

Because he's a stud. He put up great numbers in an offense that had no passing game whatsoever. He will be better than Adrian Peterson.

OAK has a lot of guys, but none are a franchise guy... McFadden could be. Nobody knows, but the guy is talented.

that's like saying "we have Kennison, Parker, and Hall...we don't need Bowe"

Q: Why would Oakland give eleventy billion dollars to a relatively unknown guy, coming off an injury and changing positions?

A: I don't know, but I am glad they did. At least we know we won't go 0-16 this year.

All 4 of those guys are basically backups. Rhodes isn't feature-back material, Jordan and Fargas can't stay healthy, and nobody really knows if Bush is healthy.

Remember things like taking Fabian Washington? Al will see a sub-3 40 next to McFadden's name and that is all it will take...

They apparently don't think they need a defensive tackle since they have the elite Tommy Kelly. You figure that they'll give JaHoldout Russell a chance to be QB, and that leaves either Jake Long or mcFadden as their top pick, assuming of course that Big Al doesn't fall in love with some fast wide receiver somewhere.

Davis is rumored to cut Seabass
he could take a kicker at 4

Why not? Its not like they have a 'star' RB.

The main reason to think that Davis WILL take McFadden ... probably b/c everyone is saying he shouldn't take him.

Because DMAC is the most exciting playmaker in this draft??
