Yea, pretty much. Its a "reboot" just 5 years after his "art house" SuperHero flick.

It may as well be. At least this one follows more of the comic's continuity. Instead of creating a villain by melding two from his book, namely his father and the Absorbing Man as in the Ang Lee film, they are using one of the Hulk's greatest enemies, the Abomination. I read that Doc Samson is also going to be in the movie, and there is a rumor that Robert Downey, Jr. is making a cameo as Tony Stark. If true, that is something I have been wanting from the Marvel films, namely cross-continuity just like in the comics. I was hoping to see a picture of Spider-Man in a newspaper in one of the X-Men flicks, too, just for the fun of it.

Ang Lee did the first movie exactly as per the the origin of the Hulk and he took a 1960's era comic book plot and copy pasted it to the screen and updated the technology a little bit. I've collected 60's and 70's era comics for a long time and they are corny when you read them outloud. Kind of like a mexican soap opera. The Hulk was written as a metaphor, warning against atomic testing, a runaway military and social change. The Hulk wasn't supposed to be good or bad, he was a result. That doesn't translate to well to the big screen.

This new movie looks like they are turning the Hulk into a hero while borrowing loosely from the old comic book.

Cool. Seems better.

The 1st one was painful to sit through at times.

I just remember from the 1st one when they had Bruce & his father in that wearhouse shouting psycho babel crap to each other thinking... "What the F am I doing here."

I don't know what his writing talents are but I've liked almost everything he's been in. One of my favorite actors.

I thought Bana sucked in the first one.

Kind of mixed reaction for me. I like Ed Norton and hope it turns out to be good, but I thought the abomination and hulk both looked pretty bad in terms of CG. Okay trailer, but way, way behind Iron Man at this point, I'd say. Not to mention Dark Knight.

I think Iron man will be a legit hit. It also looks way better IMO than any of the other comix flix...

well nothing will beat Dark Night! But I want to see this, I usually enjoy comic book movies and Ed Norton is just a bad a$$ so this should be better than the 1st one by a lot!

Yea...as far as i can tell its a sequel and a reboot to the Ang Lee version. Its NOT an origin flick.

It has the same characters as the last flick, but different actors obviously. Which is a good thing. I thought Bana was horrible as Banner last time. He was just "blah". One of my biggest problems with the flick.

The original movie was the weirdest movie i'd ever seen....this one looks a tad bit better.

Iron Man and The Dark Knight are the ones i'll see first.

Yea, agreed. Its very strange. At least Ang Lee tried to be different, but failed.

The action scenes were pretty good, but there wasnt enough of it. and the characters were not engaging at all.

Well, the good news.

" This sequence is toward the end of the movie. But our final scene, our final battle – unlike a normal movie where the final fight scene is six minutes long, ours is 26 minutes long! So you get 26 minutes of two monsters pummelling each other through New York City, jumping up and down, ripping helicopters from the sky and stuff."

This will either r0x0rz or get just as tired and old after a while as yacking in an abandoned warehouse...

Just looked in to Iron man. Wow.
The cool thing is I have the Comic where he breaks out of the camp. The first time he put on the suit. I have about thirty comics I've had for st least 20 yrs.
I felt like I was 8 again watching the trailer.
