I'm going to have to start beginning threads about English celebrations. I'm really looking forward to my "Happy Guy Fawkes Night" thread.

"Happy Bath Night" will be great, too.

Hah!
Boxing Day has a cool ring to it but until the crown designates a John Cleese day I don't want to hear about it.

The weird thing about Boxing Day was that everyone watched The Wizard of Oz on TV. I've no idea why.

You're the only bastard on here who is more dry than me. I sometimes feel as though I am missing something in your posts and quite frankly it puts me in a bit of a snit.

Isn't Guy Fawkes the reason we're supposed to remember remember the fifth of November?

Frankie
03-19-2008, 03:22 PM
It seems like it comes earlier every year.

Actually it's because of the leap year this year. At the end of this coming Persian year (leap day) things go back to normal.

Huh?

This damn intertube and it's lack of voice inflection, the old dry humor sometimes doesn't come across so well. My bad.

Yeah, your table may be prettier. But credit where it's due, the white house table has some good lookin' Garlic.

Garlic on the table and a mirror behind the table..Dick Cheney not in the photo. Coincidence?

Ha. That'll keep some folks around here occupied until July.
