Area Teacher Caught In The Act With Student
At approximately 10:00 p.m. , on March 26th a Pottawatomie County Deputy Sheriff while on patrol investigated a vehicle parked in the Spillway Marina Park area of Tuttle Creek Dam, according to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Dept. During the initial contact, it was discovered that the occupants of the vehicle were a 32 year old female and a 17 year old male.

Further investigation determined that the 32 year old female inside the vehicle was Katherine J. Harder, a Manhattan High School teacher and the male juvenile was a student at the same school. Harder was arrested for Unlawful Sexual Relations and was taken to the Pottawatomie County Jail. A District Spokesperson says Harder, a third year Language Arts teacher has resigned.

I'm fairly convinced that this particular behavior isn't limited to just the last few years. This shit has probably been going on forever. I think the problem is that teenage kids just can't keep their mouths shut nowadays and have to share the news with their buddies and then the news gets out.

I'm trying to understand what magically happens on a kid's 18th birthday that suddenly makes it not wrong. 17 years, 364 days old -- SO WRONG! 18 years old -- HELL YEAH!

Hell, if I could have ****ed one of my hot teachers when I was that old, I totally would have. I also would have kept my ****ing mouth shut about it.

No, not really. The age thing is the only thing that bothers me. Whats the difference of two co-workers doing the dirty? If the kid is 18 or older, I don't see much of a difference.

Teachers wield quite a bit of power over students. They aren't like a pair of co-workers. Not even close.

To be honest I think these teachers getting caught up in this shit all have the same thing inherently wrong. Either that or they where ugly ducklings in high school themsleves, as they grow into their body and become fairly attractive they decide to try to be the hottest most popular girl in high school the second time around. When you look at these chicks they all pretty much look the same. Not smoking hot, but pretty damn good looking. I'm sure this teacher will fall under the same category.

Now I don't condone sexual assualt on a minor, but in Kansas a 17 year olds can have sex with someone over 18 with their consent. I seriously doubt this young man put up much of a fight, especially if she looks anything like the rest of these women that have been previously caught. At 17 I sure as hell would have done it. Not only that but you'd be a legend (unless she was a 300lb librarian.) Then you'd lose the stud points.

The real issue here is that she is supposed to be an authority figure, not a sex object. She betrayed her power and moral high gound as an educator. When you read the article it is pretty obvious she initiated it. If it where a male teacher doing this to a female student whether she be 17 or 18 that is a whole different deal. The male student has to be much more willing and ready to do it than a female (that is just simple anatomy and physiology.) An educator should never abuse the power and trust that the school's administration, parents, and the students have given them to help them tap their student's ass. Most high school girls aren't really going to know their teacher is hitting on them in a private one on one session because they are niave. I mean this sick shit isn't happening in a bar or an obvious hook-up place.

With all of that said though I'd love to turn the clock back to when I was 17. There was a smoking hot english teacher I had that I'd like to give a good :spank:

I just found out this chicks husband is an Academy Leader and Science teacher at the High School I support. He has not been at work for a week now. He is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. He sure doesn't deserve this. :shake:

I worked at Tarkio Academy where ajudicated youth from all over the country were placed by the courts (now defunct). It was common for staff to get caught with these kids who were all convicted felons. Probably 5 gals during my tenure there. But near the end of my time, two of my teachers were messing with 2 of the kids. And both were married and the best looking gals that taught in the school. Both were in their 20's and one was even sending money home to the kids family for them to save up for later when I guess they ran away together. Was one of the weirdest things I have ever seen. I mean these gals could have had any guy over 18 that worked there or lived in the community and they chose under 18 felons from other states. One was fired, she helped her boyfriend or whatever he was escape and the other got away with it when a local school district hired her before the investigation was completed. Something not right with some gals.
