I lived in Parkville and moved to Omaha in November, a few weeks after the Sprint Center opened. I went to the P&L District for the first time last week. Howl at the Moon was a good time, and we went to the Irish pub (is that Raglan Road... under Lucky Strike?). Both had a good atmosphere, but the drinks sucked.

Yesterday we went to the College Basketball Experience, which was awesome, and the Brigade game. We went to Lucky Strike last night and I fell in love with the place. Watched some of the UNC/Louisville game... Great drinks with a great atmosphere. We were sitting on a couch outside eating pizza, drunk off our asses at 2:30 in the morning, and it made me wonder if it would be wrong to move back to Kansas City only so I could be closer to the P&L District. :D

Correct, contrary to the "tradition since September," it's been getting better since Mangino showed up, and Jayhawk fans have been noticing and showing up to games for a few years now. Just don't tell the anti-Jayhawks, we wouldn't want to hurt an already fragile inferiority complex. ;)

Most Mizzou fans around here are very respectable, but I'm sure the trolls that make it over from kansascity.com will have a few circle jerks if/when Kansas loses to Texas and/or Oklahoma next year in football and takes a temporary step back in basketball.

Two of the Final Four teams have Missouri kids as stars. And two of the coaches we intervied when we chose Snyder are in the Final Four. We didn't even have an opportunity to get these kids because of the shambles or program was in at the time. College fans have a tendency to give 18 year olds grief when they don't pick the home school. You can't blame these kids and I am happy for them. Our program is a Goddamned embarassment and Michael Alden should be out the door for this. I used to ignore it, but then realized that even if absolutely 100% of the board ignored them, they would still post because they do it to entertain themselves and really believe they get under people's skin.

I personally do it because it's mildly entertaining to push the massive inferiority complexes of the trolls on this board, and it only takes a few seconds anyway. It never ceases to amaze me how far people will go to not respect someone/a team/etc.

Seriously though, I have nothing against UNC or their fans... and they have a helluva team, so whoever wins will have definitely deserved it.

The 3 games I really wanted to see were Memphis/Texas, UNC/KU, and KU vs. Memphis or UCLA in the NC game.... so far, so good. :)
