Not a horrible night for Bale. Not the prettiest line score, but he pitched into the 7th, only gave up 4 runs and the Royals were/are only 1 run down. I'd call that a quality start from the 4th guy in the rotation.

I like what i saw today. Exept for not working the count later on in the game. Hillman seems to be a dickhead asshole. We need that here in KC. Gobble looked good Caspo hit the ball hard. bale gave us 6 even though he was sharp. You are going to get some bad calls and breaks that ball to teabag was a foot outside. I like what I see though. If it is going to be closed due to some kind of mystical pagan beliefs, I'd rather it was done early or before the game started. I dont know if you've noticed (look at the html code), but updating that thread and box score half a hundred times isn't easy. To have it shut down near the end of the game is frustrating.

That ball was a half foot outside. CV Bucknor is a lousy ump. He's always been hard on the Royals. They played a good game, hit balls right at people, just not our night. They're fun to watch, though.

Alnorth, your threads were nothing but the best. Especially on non-televised days. Now, I don't know what all the fuss is about (I really don't give a shit) but you have one poster right here who appreciates your hard work on those threads. People are probably a bit miffed because you started a thread when Beavis obviously had the hot hand or whatever.
