Or do you too get the urge to want to run over these sign holders standing on every damn corner? :D

Damn, they're annoying....

I've only seen them on TV.

I guess you have to live in the city then....it's been the new thing, at least, around here in Colorado. Every retailer within a city block are pushing for more advertising and they hire kids to stand out on the corners waving signs around.

Sometimes I feel like I'm driving through a petition or something...:shake:

While they can be a distraction and a pain in the ass, they are still not as annoying to me as some of the deadbeats begging for money on the street corners. There is one guy in town who has been there for three fricken years holding a the same sign that says something about how he is trying to make enough money for a bus ticket to get home. My guess would be he clears at least 60K tax free dollars a years. WTH is he trying to do, buy his own bus for the trip? Fricken scam artists.

I get a thumbs up from Uncle Sam and the Statue of liberty almost every day. Feels good.

I've always thought it was a bit reckless to put an employee next to a busy street with the intent to distract drivers. I'm sure once a few of them get mowed down that will be the end of it.

That was my first job as a young kid. Two and a half hours after school and 5 hours on Saturday.

Only the ones holding the signs that say... "God hates Fags'

I think some of the Lady Liberties are pretty funny, around tax time. I'd love it more in August.

I always kind of wonder how the job interview is conducted. Are they competing against signposts? Are they sitting in the waiting room with three other people and four 4x4 pieces of wood?

I always get a chuckle out of those liberty tax guys who are dancing by the road in their statue of liberty costumes

Only thing we got in DCK is this bear. Surprised one of the little gangbangers hasn't taken a pot shot at him.

And in Lawrence, there's always the 'Honk for hemp" guy.
