Because he was too good so opposing teams tried to break his knees.

I was pulling for auburn in that game, but that really REALLY pissed me off. That was a rediculously terribly cheap play. Aweful.

Dorsey played injured all year long and he still dominated. He also has indicated he's fully healthy now, but Dorsey isn't a loud-mouth, so he's just kept his mouth shut about it. I'm sure all of the top teams have evaluated every top player to assure themselves of the player's health.

Tuberville insisted that he doesn't teach that kind of play at his school, however a few weeks later in the Peach Bowl...

Dorsey played after that ordeal for the rest of the season. He over-compensated and ended having back spasms as a result which forced him to play less in a couple games (the loss to Arkansas was one), but after sitting for a month waiting for the BCS CG he was ready to wreck havoc.

That was evil. An eye for an eye and he should have nailed that bastards knee.
