Per rotoworld and KFFL.

Guy's a wanderer, and according to rotoworld he will probably just be camp fodder behind a FB draftee or behind Oliver Hoyte.

Anybody know anything about him?

POSITIVES: Hard-working lead blocker with limited upside. Displays outstanding field vision, picking up blitzes and sliding his feet in pass protection. Nasty and works to finish assignments. Solid hands out of the backfield making the reception from his frame.

NEGATIVES: Marginally athletic, not quick off the snap nor a dominant blocker. Mostly a safety-valve receiver out of the backfield.

ANALYSIS: A hard-working football player, Manderino is a fifth or sixth running back for an NFL roster who must earn his wage on special teams.

"not quick off the snap nor a dominant blocker" and "Manderino is a fifth or sixth running back for an NFL roster" -doesn't exactly sound promising. This guy sounds like utter trash. Typical.

...he'll be gone by August.

More barrel-scraping to improve the team or something...

How inept does the Front Office need to be for heads to roll?

No, quite different. Kris Wilson's said: A marginal tight end with marginal speed and marginal hands. Would excel in an offense with most of the playbook designed entirely for him. However, should an injury occur, the rest of the team would be screwed. Would make a poor fullback or H back.

Manderino. If you jumble the letters around it spells Dan Merino or Den Marino. It's a ****ing sign from the football Gods.
