then we could just move Mcnotosh to guard

Williams and Nicks......welcome back LJ!

The Chiefs could conceivably get an entire new offensive line out of this draft, an all-world DT, a great situational pass rusher (Ellis), Two new CBs, depth at safety, linebacker, and running back.

I think Young and Pollack go before Nicks and Godfrey.

I also think Burton goes before Round 5.

As far as player selection, I think it's very good.

Then we remember Carl and Herm are running this draft...

There's a good chance that Groves will be there at 35. I could live with that, too.

I don't want to take Ellis at #5, I still have that Ryan Sims taste in my mouth. I want Gholston or Long with Long being the 1st choice.

What about a QBoTF???

I've read the Donkeys are very high on Williams and would take him at 12 over Clady.

I love it, but I can see us drafting gholston at 5.

Ellis/Groves Even Gholston/Groves all those guys are prototypes for this defense.

What about a QBoTF???

It's not a one year rebuild. Unless Henne slides to R3 or Brohm to R2, I don't think the value is there to draft a QB w/ any of our early picks.

I still say the Chiefs will draft a QB somewhere. Probably in the 3rd with one of those extra picks. Woodson??

Or you could pass on Nicks in R2, move Mc to RT, and select Groves. Then you have a 3 DE rotation of Groves, C. Ellis, and Hali. You bring in Groves and Ellis to rush from the edges, and you can have McBride S. Ellis and Hali (moves inside) apply interior pressure.

That D-Line would rain DEATH on third down and with Ellis, Boone, McBride, and Tyler, I think it is strong enough up the middle to be good against the run.

This is even better than Madden...you can only have 10 picks in Madden...

This is definitely (by far) the most interesting Chiefs draft I've ever seen.

And it could get even more interesting (trades, I mean).

If the Chiefs were to decide to go Gholston 1 and Groves 2 you got 2 wicked rushers..

I know people say Gholston this and that but he has every physical tool you want in an end I like him more than Chris Long.

Remember these names for the middle to late rounds:

Jerome Simpson, Arman Shields, Lance Leggett.

I think any of them can contribute.

yeah, but at least we won't know for a couple of years....

and seriously, we could be San Diego in 2-3 years if we hit on this....

This is what has me so excited about this draft. If we hit our team will turn around quickly. And we'll be good, and young this time!

I bet if we draft 13 kickers, at least one of them will pan out.

If we fock this draft up, the consequences for all decision makers, front office, talent evaluators, draft name-tag makers, etc. MUST be Chernobyl-like.

I like this draft. In the second round, however, I'd prefer to find a really good guard or QB prospect. Maybe its just cuz carl nicks is slow to learn. I do love the Pollack pick, even if we have to make it in the third tho. He could be a 10-year starter at center.
