Bowman has some character issues but an excellent skill set. Size, speed, and strength comp to Braylen Edwards but doesnt adjust to the ball as well. Eye surgery scared some off too. Worth 7th consideration...

Speaking of character issues, I've been having to slip away to work, who finally took Nicks?

Two picks away.

Hey -- did anybody draft Caleb Campbell. I don't think the Chiefs should touch him now that we have Morgan, but I was curious if he's gone to anybody.

Does his future depend on getting drafted or just making a team?

That could be said for just about anyone, but he's got rare athletic ability for the position, and dropped due to the level of competition.

Great pick. I am just amazed he lasted this long.

'Hamas' Jenkins
04-27-2008, 03:03 PM
He's not a good ole white country boy is he?

I had to ask...

He's white, I don't know if he's a George Strait fan or not.

Strengths:
Good size and bulk with the frame to get bigger...A much better athlete than he is given credit for....Good timed speed and is very quick....Relentless with a non-stop motor...A good bull rusher...Uses his hands well...Shows some power...Productive.

Weaknesses:
Did not play against top competition...Is not as explosive as his workout numbers might lead you to believe..Not real stout at the point of attack...Repertoire of pass rush moves is limited....Needs to get stronger....Short arms...Raw technique-wise.

Notes:
Began his college career as an outside linebacker in 2004 and moved to defensive end in 2005...Two-time Division I-AA All-American...Recorded two sacks in the Hula Bowl...Underrated small school prospect with terrific physical tools and production.

I think this last pick has to be OG, but who knows.

We're just so skinny along the interior I'd think we'd have to take one.

But let's examine our needs:

QB -- ???

OT -- check.
Interior OL -- check.
OL depth -- ???
TE -- check.
2 WRs -- check.

DT -- check.
DE -- check.
DL depth -- ???

Robertson is kind of a tweener but in this round if they feel he has the goods I don't have a problem with the pick.

I think he could make a great situational pass rusher at the end, or in some rare occasions, a blitzing OLB.

His 10 second time frame, out of the whole 40, is pretty fast. He'd be coming around the edge pretty quick.

The issue here is his strength. That can come in time.

If we did go G who do you like between Felton and Young? I kinda like Felton because I'm seeing technique and motivation problems with Young. Felton is a 3 1/2 year starter who handels power well even though he needs strengthen.
