View Full Version : Chiefs NFL Network reports Dorsey likely to fall to Chiefs

Shefter just reported that Long will go 2, Ryan 3.

NO will talk turley with Oakland about trading up, but it sounds like they'll go McFadden.

That leaves Dorsey to us at 5. Do you take him or pull the trigger with the Saints?

HUGE jump between Sims and Dorsey.

Dorsey was the focal point of the LSU defense and is used to being gameplanned and accounted for.

Sims was the beneficiary of playing next to Peppers and caught a done of "drippings" as a result.

Sims also had "motor" issues in college. Dorsey (by all accounts) does not.

The only thing that makes it scary is the condition of the legs/knees. Dewayne Robertson had similar concerns and now he can't pass most teams' physicals.

If the doctors don't raise concerns, it's a no brainer.

Another thing to keep in mind as far as the Saints trading up to 4 to get Dorsey. They can't do that and still have the ammo to get Shockey, who Payton loves.

Either one would be franchise-altering. Although if I had my druthers, I'd hope we get Chris Williams to fall to 17 (but that's quite unlikely).

If we did get Dorsey, a first three picks of Dorsey, Albert/Williams, and Quentin Groves would be about the coolest thing to happen since Internet pr0n.

DJ has yet to live up to the hype though. He's not as explosive as advertised and doesn't make as many plays as he did in college. He has not been worth the 15th pick in the draft, IMO.

Dunno bout that.

If the Raiders are willing to switch spots because they want McFadden so badly, might as well just stay put and draft in order.

Now, if OAK wants to hang him over our head, then we trade down and snag Sedrick at 7 or 8 and pick up another 3rd in the process.
