Yes, I'm totally on board with getting Dorsey. However, what would it take for the Saints to offer for you to be on board with trading down to the 10 slot? Pro Bowl LT, #10 Overall Pick and what? Or is those two enough? Let's be realistic on our dreams. Could we squeeze another first day pick out of it?

The fact that they think Dorsey is more valuable than their pro bowl LT is all I need to know...

You take it. Two Top Ten picks(and Brown is the equivalent of one) is more valuable than Dorsey.

Perhaps a 3rd but we will have to give up some late rounders to do it.

IMO, getting the number 10 and a Pro Bowl left tackle would be sufficient. Maybe the Chiefs would have to give up a later pick.

I wouldn't be upset with this trade. Brown and the #10 is great value.

Do you think that the fact that Dorsey is from LSU makes them that much more excited about him? He could sell some tickets and jerseys.

Well it is the Saints. They thought Ricky Williams was worth an entire draft too. But yeah, it does raise some concerns about Brown. If he was a franchise LT he wouldn't be traded.

There first this year, next year, Jammal Brown and Will Smith would be what it takes for me. And normally I am pretty lax when it comes to trades.

Assuming the LT wasn't damaged goods, I'd take it as is. No additional picks necessary.
