A tornado has been sighted or indicated by radar in your area. Seek shelter immediately!

I'd have no idea if I hadn't just scanned the planet. Hopefully my apartment's still there whenever I finish working. I'm probably safer here than there.

You have enjoyed some championships with the Huskers at least. If it wasn't for the Av's I'd be in sad shape, of course after tonight I might not be happy when the Av's get eliminated tonight.

Easy solution: become a KU fan. I did at a very young age.

Good point, but I moved out of Nebraska to KC in 86'. Just in time to miss the Royals WS and Nebraskas titles. Hell, maybe I'm the one that doomed KC. I mean I did just buy Brigade season tickets.....LOL

I went to KU, are you telling me UTEP, Rhode Island, Arizona, etc are fond memories of yours?

Nope, sirens there as well.

They only do that so that they can watch the news as other cities get blown away. It's more for the entertainment value really.

I do remember the World Series and I was in KC, but I was about 11 at the time. I did move to NE for the championships, but I really just couldn't get excited about a team named after husking corn.

LOL, funny...... I moved to KC from NE when I was 11 as well. I also went to Olathe North in the 90's, and we had some damn fine football teams but never won a title until Lawrence HS split into 2 a year or two after I graduated.

I'm a Jinx I tell you :)

I feel old. I was in Westport getting hammered drunk after the Royals won the WS in 85.:doh!:

Nice work with Vbulletin Morphis BTW, this place looks sharp. I just setup a copy of Windows 2008 server tonight with IIS 7 and I'm migrating my talkncaa.com board to it.

They mentioned John Knox Village in Lee's Summit - I live across the street from there.

It was interesting for a minute with the hail, but apparently it's over.
