In the championship game of the WS in 2006 our seats were out in right field. After Duncan made the error in right field and then Casey hit the home the fans were constantly giving him chit. Then when our gold glove CF could have got to an easy fly ball and Duncan just drops it our section went balastic. That was Jimmy's. WTF is that rook doing taking Jimmy's ball etc.etc.

17 new players on this roster inside of 2 years. Only one year taking our lumps. Lots of young talent in the pipeline. Mulder and Carpenter coming back after the all-star break.

We thought we had no chance in the playoffs in 2006. Maybe we are underestimating this team again? You should of heard the talk on the radio before the season. Totally trashing the team.

That play he made in the championship game from flat on his back throwing between his legs was the moment that I knew this was out time, our game. We were not going to be denied.

Well, last time I checked, Los Angeles isn't in Missouri.

Is this Missouri Planet or Chiefsplanet?

I don't see a difference between a Cardinals logo or a Dodgers logo seeing neither one of them have anything to do with KANSAS CITY CHIEFS.

In fact if you want to get technical about it, L.A. doesn't even have a football team making us more neutral than St. L

It's Missouri Planet as far as I'm concerned. :)

There are lots of Cardinals fans here, and there are lots of posters here to whom St. Louis is local. Using the same logic, I assume that (upon request) Nebraska and Oklahoma prefixes could be added, as they can also be considered local.

But L.A. ain't local, dude. Sorry.

We had a group of people at the game sitting in the left field area, and I was pondering how often an outfielder makes two errors in one inning. Gotta be once every couple of decades.

He also went 0-4 for two strikeouts.

HeyCardinal fans, what if Phat Albert is out at the plate? Does TLR bring him in the office and scold him since Albert is prone to running through the
stop sign at 3rd base.

It is pretty easy. I've found 5 or 6 on here and I'd say thats a good ratio considering we apparently live on the other side of the moon.

To me, the categories are more a matter of demand than true geographic location - it just depends on whether or not the category would actually be used or if it would just sit there cluttering up the list. As is, I've not seen a bunch of Dodgers threads on here that make me think a category is warranted.

It was close, he may have had his foot in there, but doubt it. Amazing player

His foot was in there. I don't think it was amake up call at all. Molina
was jobbed at home when he (scored)!

There are actually more than a few people on CP from the LA area. But ya'll never make Dodgers threads. If there was more Dodgers discussion, then I'm sure you'd get a Dodgers icon. Mainly so everyone else could easily ignore shitty Dodgers threads.

But, like Frazod said, this is basically Missouri Planet. There is always a good deal of Royals and Cards discussion, and even Royals vs Cards <s>discussion</s> shit-talking. The numbers and activity definitely warrant icons for the MO baseball teams.

He made 2 errors in the World Series Championship winning game in 2006 for which I still hold a grudge. Last nights play made Manny Ramirez look like a gold glover.

Well, to be fair, they have enjoyed far more success than any of the other teams. Perhaps their prefix should be bigger.

And it should be noted that this whole thing was YOUR IDEA. Thanks bud! :toast:

I shrunk it down a smidge to make it less obtrusive. I don't really like the way the Cardinal turned out at 25x25, so I'd rather keep the letters if we can. I do agree that it was a little "in your face" though.

Ankiel just made one of the finest throws you'll ever see from an OFer.

That kid has a hose. I think he has the best throwing arm in MLB.

Sigh...the guy coulda been one of the best LHSP of all time. I will always wonder what he could've been.
