Prayers needed for a friend

I've got a buddy that lives up in Dayton, OH. He got married about a year ago. His new wife and he found out a few months ago that she was pregnant. At the next appt, they found out they were having twins.

Now, in non-medical terms, one baby is getting all the nutrients and the other is getting very little - which is obviously causing problems. His wife goes in for surgery tomorrow (she has to be around 4 months pregnant). They are trying to separate some blood vessels so that both babies can survive. The problem is that they could lose one or both in the process.

If you don't mind, he is having a hard time with this and would appreciate all the extra prayers you could send his way.

Update....

Apparently they did not do the surgery yesterday. His wifes cervix was opening up so they had to stitch it up so that they can actually do the surgery next Tuesday. Babies are currently ok, but man he's having a rough time and I don't blame him.

Keep the prayers coming because he really needs them.

The doctors separated something like 47 blood vessels. Both mom and the babies are doing great and the doctors are very hopeful for a healthy pregnancy. Mom is on bed rest for the remainder of the pregnancy - actually has been for about the last month.

But, everything went well. I know he appreciated all the thoughts and prayers.

Good to hear Mr Plow. I'm glad someone has good news. I just got a call from my friend last night. Their son Phoenix born a month prematurely has tested positive for Cystic Fibrosis. The family is hurting right now already from premature birth. Inside the womb the poor guy had a digestive obstruction that prevented his lower intestine to develop. The little guy is on a colostomy bag right now until they develop. This Cystic Fibrosis will only complicate things. I know there's some caring people out there reading this, pray for them. Thanks.
