So Scrubs had its Season 7 finale last night on NBC (thanks for only 11 episodes jackwads!).

It has been confirmed that Scrubs will indeed have a season 8 on ABC for 18 episodes.

However, last nights "Princess Bride" parody episode had something rather confusing...

In the previous 2 episodes, Dr. Kelso had resigned from his position as Chief of Medicine. The next episode, Dr. Cox was filling in as the temporary Chief...

Last nights episode had Kelso back as Chief...

What the hell?

Scrubs can be confusing. I think they use some sort of flashback or imagination driftoffs for jokes, because I am pretty sure planting a man's testical will not grow a black man exactly like the testicle from which it came

The flashback parts do not confuse me (i enjoy them)... This was simply out of cannon order.

Also, have you ever tried planting a testical???

It was shot earlier, but was held out to be the finale after the writers strike.

There is a lot of talk about ABC picking up the series. I personally love it, but was always frustrated that it was not in HD.

It wasn't in HD, as I understand it, because the showrunners wanted to keep it in the same look and format as when it started. The Wire made the same decision.

I do like that show, but ever since NPH came out of the closet, I just can't buy his character. I still like it, but I feel like they could have pushed his character pretty far, but now he is kind of a lame duck.

Cobie Smulders is pretty hot. I would like to see her and Bianca Kajlich from Rules of Engagement in a lesbian fantasy scene.

Doogie coming out doesnt bother me 1 bit. The character Barney is just so awesome i can overlook what he is.

Scrubs finale sucked ass. I really like the show, but that shit was HORRIBLE.

I'm a long time fan of Smulders, Chalke AND Hannigan. But I have to admit after last night, Kaley Cuoco's bewbs are the stars of Monday. I'm not even a breast man, and those puppies are GLORIOUS.

Absolutely, Kaley is hot. Last night's Big Bang Theory made me laugh harder than I have laughed in some time. The scene with the allergic reaction had me in stitches.

That show is outstanding. The complete CBS Monday night lineup of Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men and Rules of Engagement is spectacular.

Penny (Kaley) looked amazing in those little plaid shorts last night.

I don't watch the show but heard that NBC only owned the rights to a short season and played the episodes out of order. The "real" season finale for this season will air on ABC next year.

Supposedly Zach Braff (is that his name?) explains it all in some blog of his.

After the writers strike, NBC refused to bring the show back in production to produce some type of series finale. They aired the remaining episodes, and decided that last weeks episode would be the best finale. Hoping to cash in on it, they advertised it as a series finale. It was filmed earlier though, so that's why it seems off continually.

ABC, who actually owns the show, picked it up once NBC refused to fulfill the whole episode order or order a season 8. So, next season Scrubs will move to ABC for its last season.

Is Ken Jenkins (Kelso) still a series regular?
[Bill] Lawrence: He's still a series regular. The core of his participation this year is with Dr. Cox, who becomes Chief of Medicine. Now that Dr. Kelso is no longer a hospital bureaucrat, he is actually a decent human being and is Dr. Cox's confidant because Cox can't really talk to anyone else about how much that job sucks..

Anyway, I like Scrubs. Wife and I bought the seasons, Season 8 came out a month or so ago, so we're working through all of the precious seasons. It is one of the few things we both like to watch.

Must say, after a season of dueling obscured pregancies, HIMYM is reaping the whirlwind of the nursing duo of Cobie and Allyson. I think I got a sunburn from my television the cleavage was so blindingly smoking last night.

My eyes about jumped out of their sockets during last nights show when Allyson's cleavage was displayed.
