I find the format makes it unreadable.

Then I find the writers are unreadable.

Yeah, the site doesn't mention anything about Insider. Still a really cheap price, though.

In the general sense, you do get ESPN Insider for subscribing to the magazine, though. So if nothing else, you should be able to sign up for Insider after you get the first issue with the account number on the mailing label (or whatever info you'd need).

Its a long season. Not to concerned with them right now. What they do need to do is ****ing bring up Clayton Kershaw already. He was the best damn pitching in spring training. He's been down there i think 2 years now. He's the number 1 damn pitching prospect in the Minors atm.

Yeah he's tearing it up down there. They said maybe May 17th he might start. Loaizs on the DL now so he might fill in. Now Bills is trying too hard, Lowe and Penny aren't pitching well at all and finally Kuroda had a great outing today only for our pen to blow it. I know the season is a marathon but I've been burned enough times between them and the Chiefs to be more than skeptical.

Also they need to stop ****ing around and keep Either in the lineup and **** Jones. I was hoping he was just in a really bad slump but that article in the Times today pissed me off bad.

I already get Sports Illustrated and the Sporting News but this deal is great, thanks for posting this info BuckinKaeding, i used to love espn mag because of the insider.

They make their money on advertising. They'll practically give away the subscriptions just to boost their numbers to inflate their advertising cost. That's the catch.

For some reason my grandmother got ESPN the mag for free for about a year.

She'd always passed it on to me. I got the LJ article and other than that I can't say I saw anything flipping through that made me want to read it. It's birdcage liner as far as I'm concerned...

Frequent Flyer miles will get you about any subscription you want. It's a good way to burn off some extra miles. I order stuff I never even heard of just because it's free.
Watch out though, I got Newsweek this year just because it was on the list. I had no idea it was the official Obama Fo' President magazine. My god.

Just an FYI, you have to renew your insider access every year even though you have a multiple year subscription. When you do this they send you a notice to renew your insider access at $29.95 for the year. You have to call ESPN and explain that you have a multiple year supscription and they turn off the renewal fee after you enter your information. You will have to do this once each year.

Pain in the ass.

I was wondering why I was no longer an ESPN InsiderJust renew your insider subscription online and it will say something along the lines of "your next 11 months are free and you will autorenew for 29.95 at the end". Then call ESPNs 888 number and tell them you DO NOT want auto renewal and they will turn it off for you.

That is, if you still have time left on your magazine subscription.

You'd have to pay me a lot more than that to even read that fucking rag.

If you're not a 20-something fan of a team from New York, Boston or LA, there is absolutely no reason for you to bother with it.

This is a pretty good reason I never contacted them about not getting the issues. I pretty much paid for the ESPN Insider, but I can't use that either. I was robbed.
