He has legit. power. Plus I haven't been impressed at all with Buck's defense. He doesn't get squared up when trying to block--the five hole is always open. And I believe that he hasn't thrown out a runner all year. Not good.

Has Olivo taken Buck's spot?

He has legit. power. Plus I haven't been impressed at all with Buck's defense. He doesn't get squared up when trying to block--the five hole is always open. And I believe that he hasn't thrown out a runner all year. Not good.

Buck was back in KC, his wife had twins.

Olivo will start the rest of the weekend...

I personally think they should just continue splitting and keeping them fresh...Olivo definetly needs more at bats though

OMG i just looked at the standing and just noticed we are only 1.5 back out of first place. If we continue this win streak and play well, we can be in this division race for a while.

If we stay this close for another month or so, they're pretty much going to have to add another bat somehow.

I personally think we should trade Buck if we get the chance and just stick with Olivo.. I don't care if Buck is a fan favorite or not..

Olivo............AB....74...H..21..AVG...284....R....10...RBI...13...2B...7...HR...5
Buck............AB...101..H..26..AVG...257....R....13...RBI...13...2B...5...HR...2

I am rooting for Olivo to take the helm and hopefully his bats wins an extra few more games that Bucks would not..

Yeah, sorry. I meant long term.
