12. (22) Herm Edwards, Kansas City Chiefs. After a monster draft featuring Glenn Dorsey and 11 others, most of whom appear to be actual real additions, Edwards has charted the Chiefs’ course for years. We’ll see about chosen helmsman Brodie Croyle.

These power rankings seem pretty messed up to me.

Isn't this the same rag that Goatse wrote for before moving to his current rag?

Wow. Did they just draw names out of a hat and put them down in that order? That's really bad. :spock:

Um. You guys do recognize it a ranking of the coaches, not the teams, right?

No, we're all totally retarded.

OMG!!! I hate Herm. He is such a douche..he should def. be ranked #700 LOL.

I'd take a high school coach over him, that is ridiculous.

Look at the list guys, there really aren't too many coaches rated below Herm that really spark my interest either.

Oooohh, can we get Dick Jauron or Scott Linehan...they are soo much better than Herm. And the excerpt is truthful, Herm and the Chiefs had a great draft that may have set the Chiefs up in some positions for nearly a decade.

Uh, that list had Herm ahead of Jeff Fisher. Are you kidding me? Besides Fisher, I'd take quite a few others ahead of Herm Edwards. :shake:

They should rank the GMs. Based on this coaches rankings, Carl would be no lower than 3 on that list.

Yes. It's a nice little site.

These power rankings seem pretty messed up to me.

With the exception of Andy Reid and Jeff Fisher, I thought that Herm was pretty much where he should be ranked.

Shanahan's had a decade to make his mark without Elway and has failed to do so.

In all honesty, I wouldn't take any of those coaches ranked below Herm at this point in time. The guy has taken four teams in seven years to the playoffs.

Of course, that won't matter to the haters.

If you look at the whole job and not just game management it might not be off as far as some of you wish.

Bingo!

I like listening to Herm too! I know a lot of people here can't stand to hear him talk, but I could see how players would love to play for him.

I really think we could make a run at making the playoffs this season as well. Could be wrong, but I am more excited about this young team than I ever was last offseason... and that had nothing to do with Herml.

I would probably take Fisher over Herm. It is nice, however, to see Mike Shanahan ranked right about where a mediocre coach should be ranked.
