By that terminology, Cleveland, Chicago, and Minny would also qualify for "medicore."

Detroit is just "terrible."

The way we're hitting right now - it is.

I love it how Mr Moneyball Hochevar's nuts shrivel into peas and he goes to nibling the corners when the pressure's on.

f#cking p#ssy.

See you tommorow night when we'll see Meche throw BP.

The Red Sox are on another level. Their pitchers keep the ball down, but in the strike zone, and their hitters take advantage of situations.

Reason to continue watching: Will the Royals get no hit?

Coach
05-19-2008, 06:50 PM
Hochevar was a f**king pussy today. Tried to nibble the corners and wanting to throw his shitty-assed sinker way outside of the zone.

The only way you're gonna beat Boston is to attack them. It's that simple. And I am getting ABSOLUTELY F**KING TIRED OF TONY PENA JR. HE'S JUST ANOTHER NEIFI PEREZ!

Boris The Great
05-19-2008, 06:58 PM
JFC, Hochevar is a rookie making his first start at Fenway. It never fails, the Royals arent completely terrible and on comes threads like this one, full of delusional BS.

I'm curious how he was the #1 overall pick? In reality if money wasn't an issue, what # of a pick would he have been? I just don't see him being a top 2 starter based on what i've seen. Who knows though, people say he might be Kevin Brown....

Did hillman have money on the game? Why did he remove Grudz for no reason? Why was TPJ batting in the ninth?

I almost feel tempted to bump my post yesterday about why Hillman has largely sucked this season, and this does nothing to help the cause.

I would have thought I'd be upset to see the Royals get no-hit, but I feel a weird sort of apathy. Ahh well, it was a good run. Very few teams have gone this long without being no-hit. It was a bit of pride to say that no matter how bad things got, we were no-hit only once back in 1973 by a guy named Nolan Ryan. Lester is obviously destined for greatness now.

KCUnited

Hats off to whatever his name is that threw the no hitter. But when you get to face German, Pena Jr., and Teahan 3 times in a game, its really like throwing a no hitter for 6 innings.
