I hope BJ Penn beats the piss out of that steroid freak!! I hate watching fighters who can only wrestle. I believe Penns skill set to be too advanced for Sherk.
I also hope Machida knocks out Ortiz. It would make me very happy to see him leave theUFC with his tail between his legs. He is such a douche that his girlfriend is his only redeaming quality.

Machida grew up with a really good friend of mine I train with. He was down at our school awhile back but I wasn't around. I am pulling for him big time.

Tito just wants to make money bro. He's really not a bad guy.

Penn is going to have to be in great shape. Sherk is an animal.

Didn't we have a similar discussion about the Diaz brothers? J/K
I'm sure Tito isn't a bad guy, and he is one of the main reasons why the sport is as big as it is. However, he seems to have lost touch with the reality that his market value is not what it once was. He has not looked good in his past few fights and whether that's due to injury or skill he needs to acknowledge that and move forward.

BTW Nick Diaz just beat Katsuya Inoue in Dream 3. HDnet Fights is off the hook and free. Doesn't get any better than that.

I think Dana White has always hated the Diaz brothers and will try to overmatch Nate in his next fight.

I saw that fight, I have a spaecial place in my heart for Japanese jiu-jitsu just as you do for bjj. I lived on Okinawa for 5 years and I realize that these Japanese fighters are having a hard time adjusting to the ever changing game.

I don't think Dana hates Nate as much as Nick, Dana has said Nick would never fight for the UFC again and I still don't know why.

That may change at some point but Dana just needs to get the best fighters in there instead of playing favorites all the time. He is really bad when it comes to that.

That is a fact he is much less concerned with making good fights than he is with the public image of the fighters. He has taken a guy like Randy who is another of a handful of fighters who have made the game what it is and completely alienated him. It's a shame. He is an awesome promoter and a first class jackass.

Well we certainly agree on that.

One other thing we agree on is Silva, he is an absolute animal. I like Jardine but I think his luck may have run out on this one. Have you seen that hypoxia training he does?? It is insane.

Whats funny is that Anderson Silva hasn't lost to a non-Japanese in 8 years, which was his first fight. In fact, he has a record against non-japanese fighters of 18-1. His record against Japanese fighters? 3-3.

I know this is off-topic, sorta.

But, I've watched plenty of his street fights online - how is Kimbo Slice doing in MMA?

2-0

1 KO
1 sub

Personally, I think Kimbo is to MMA what Tommy Gunn was to boxing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope they show the Nakamura fight on 84. that guy is pure judoka and he still rocks the mullet, what balls!

Honestly I think Kimbo has the heart to do well in MMA, not championship material, but better then that POS Lesner..

He does have the heart, and he is smart. He just needs to learn some ground skills. He would never beat a Randy or Fedor but he could be good.

Why not, the UFC doesn't have anyone else to throw at him at 185, that's why Bisping moved down.

He hasn't fought anybody good, he beat up Ray Mercer a while ago, and beat Tank Abbott also.
