Filled up on the edge of Lawrence, practiced my hypermiling techniques on the way into work (Leawood, 87th & State Line). Averaged 30.4 mpg in a 2004 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with a supercharged V-6 ! W00t!
What is this "hypermiling"?

Or being pushed half of the time on the way to work by a Super Duty. :hmmm:

I have been very conscious lately of how quickly I accelerate, and have definitely eased off the gas a bit. I have noticed a difference. Also my alignment was a bit off, and I got that fixed last week, which seems to have helped as well.
There are times, obviously, when you have to stand on it, but I used to do that pretty much all the time. Now I'm trying to give myself more time and take it easy driving when possible.
This does not occur naturally :grr: but I'm working on it.
