Allan to practice squad is my guess. Merritt third TE.

I also think Brack will start.

I pretty much agree with Direckshun except for DE...I think Johnston starts.

What's this about Jason Taylor demanding a trade?

Let's pick him up and put him right behind Hali!!!

At work I've got an Excel document I threw together which is actually pretty sweet. I'll keep it updated as a useful tool. In that, I've got 45 guys (I think, certainly 40-something) on the roster and I think all are locks. I don't see one of them not making it.

That leaves eight guys. Off the top of my head, I had only three DEs (McBride, Hali and Johnston), and I think four LBs (and we'll likely carry six, but I'm not sure who those guys will be). I also had a shortage on guards but was heavy on OTs.

In the end, I think we're set at QB (3), RB (3, maybe even 4 with Savage), TE (3, with either Merritt or Allan), OC (2 - Smith, Niswanger), DT (4, including "DT" Boone but not "DE" McBride) and S (4). Plus specialists, of course (3).

There's certainly some competition at WR, on the edges of the OL, at DE, backup LB and CB.

Adrian Jones is 26 years old.

Aside from the fact that he sucked ass at OT, and got pushed around pretty handily by smaller DEs as a Jet, the fact that the Jets would let him walk in favor of a 31 year old Alan Faneca tells me all I need to know.

If you have a younger player with any potential to amount to anything on the OL, you simply don't let him walk.

He got pushed around by DEs, how's he going to handle a DT?

And you (should) already know how I feel about McGlassgina.

That should do just fine IMO.That looks about right. But I'd also have Sippio as head coach. It just makes sense, I mean, the guy is the football messiah.

Blessed is our Sippio, he shall deliver us from evil!

It's important to keep in mind that we'll have around four players on our roster at the start of the season that aren't on the team now.

As teams begin cutting younger players, busted draft picks, and UDFAs, Herm will undoubtably do what he did last year and continually add them and cut them all season long.
