George Brett breaks down the swing of a bat in this slideshow at the New York Times website. (http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2008/05/27/sports/playmagazine/060108play_finepoints_index.html?8pl&emc=pl)

Pretty interesting stuff.

Brett had the type of swing that looked good even when he missed. I loved watching him hit.

I still have my original copy of this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Art-Hitting-300-Charley-Lau/dp/0140153357

You can flip the pages and see a "movie" (animated photos) of Brett swinging in the upper right corner.

Brett had a great swing, but i think my favorite swing of all time would have to be Daryl Strawberry or Ken Griffey Jr.

BTW, anyone ever see an old 80's movie called "Max Dugan Returns"? There are a couple of scenes in there with the real Charlie Lau teaching Matthew Brodericks character how to hit. Very cool stuff.
