How can that be? Last year at this time all the sports writers in America said the Chiefs really let a good player go. I guess not.

I'm sure kawika was heart broken by not being here last year. He's having to excercise his hands all season to prepare physically for the rigors of having to tote his CHAMPIONSHIP ring around.

Yeah Kawika doesn't really deserve to be on that list...

Why not? He was a 2nd round pick that was a total bust. Just because he was on a Championship team doesn't mean he was any better there in NYG than he was here. He still sucks.

If he didn't suck we wouldn't still be looking for a MLB.

Shaunard Harts?! SHAUNARD HARTS!?!? Don't go hating on Shaunard Harts. The guy could've been a star.

ROFL

Ill never forget the play where a ball was tipped directly to him and it looked as if the ball was going in slow motion.

what does Harts do?

He lets it thru his hands and hits him in the facemask and drops it. talk about a pee wee blooper good God.

Kawikia will never be a star but he is a decent starter and everyone on our defense at that time looked terrible, just one of the worst defenses ever.

The one I am glad we got rid of was Warfield, he took partying more seriously than football, was mediocre in every sense of the word and was being paid like he was a pro-bowler. He was just a drain on the team in every way IMO.

The Matador is on the WA list....I-65 now confirmed a bust. The donx x-mgr recognized Black's issues.

Black would be better at RG than Jones. We oughta grab him.

Black could have been a really good guard, but they were damned to make him play tackle.

I actually wouldn't be opposed to the possibility of him playing guard for KC.

Also, Kawika was not a bust. He was a decent starter, just not a decent Cover 2 starter. We didn't resign him because he doesn't fit the scheme.

Then exactly what scheme did he fit into?

KaWEAKa wasn't shit before Herm's cover2 defense arrived.

Where's the "if he'll sign for cheap bring him in for a look" comment? :D

Kawika is a mystery to me. I always liked the guy and thought he had potential. I'm a super-homer, though.

Still, I don't think you can argue the fact that he contributed to the Giants' D last year. He was one of only 11 guys on the field. I'm not so sure that our new, fabulous MLB performed much better.
