n 1993, Pyle was arrested and charged in Jacksonville Beach, Florida with sexual battery against two girls, ages 4 and 8.[10] Facing a potential life sentence, Pyle arranged a plea-bargain with prosecutors to spare the children a trial.[11] He received eight years of probation,[12] and he was entered into the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's "Sexual Offender" database.[13]

On November 19, 2007, Pyle was arrested in St. Johns County, Florida for failure to register as a sex offender.[14] He was re-arrested on November 27, 2007 on the same charge.[15]

I never claimed to be the "least judgemental". I am, however, reasonable enough to know that not everybody who has plead guilty to a crime in order to avoid a trial is actually guilty. Sorry if that clashes with your preconceived notions about some guy on the internet.

He says he was protecting the kids from being dragged through a trial. Should I take it that you would be willing to drag your kids through any horror just to preserve your good name and your visitation rights? You would rather say that you molested your own children and never see them again knowing full well you were innocent than proclaiming youre innocence and having a lawyer ask your kids a couple questions? Make perfect sense. :rolleyes:

If i was innocent i would rather rot the rest of my life in jail proclaiming so.

Sometimes these lists mean something, sometimes they don't.

An ex-roommate of mine is on the national predator list for molesting a toddler. Of course, the guy was black, the girl was white, as was her mother, and (so I've heard) the mother was coerced into making false charges by her racist family. Faced with probation, registration and a fine OR being a skinny black guy with debilitating arthritis being sent to prison as a kiddie raper, the guy pleaded guilty.

Now, do I know for a fact that he's innocent? Of course not. I certainly wasn't there when the alleged incident occurred, I hadn't seen him for years when it happened, and I haven't seen him since - everything I've heard is from a mutual friend. But I lived with the guy for year, and I never saw him give a second look to any woman who wasn't at least sporting D-cup sized knockers, nor did he ever exhibit any sort of interest in children at all - in fact, they annoyed the shit out of him (as did most things). But he was a miserable, self-loathing jerk who had a gift for instantly rubbing people the wrong way. And I have no problem believing that such a person (with little or no money) could easily piss people off enough to get this whole thing rolling.

The thing is that, with children this young, all someone really has to do is accuse you, when you think about it. It's very difficult to prove a negative. Innocent or no.

Yep, i had a friend do 9 years for a murder he didnt do. They realized it after 9 years of his life was gone. Sorry, but if we let you out, you have to agree to simple manslaughter, if not, then you stay here and rot, What choice do you want to make? Duh George.
