I knew nothing of the effort. But I do commend him. It's not exactly premium but it will do.

Fatchatter is a very nice place, no arguments. It's like you're accusing me of "being alive". Guilty. They hardly need my help with membership, though.

Trying to keep people from fatchatter is like keeping me from a big ol plate of bacon. It's a losing proposition.

Anyway, I post both places and I wanted insights from here, too.

The poll is basically
hoaxers
God
Other Spiritual forces
aliens from other planets
non-man life forces on this planet
gov't

here's the gist of the text

I used to think crop circles were only simple affairs like this:

But as I see now, they can be more and more complex, like these:

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/dp5/crop9907d.jpg
http://www.lifeinthefastlane.ca/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/crop_circle_1.jpg

I'm as big a skeptic as anyone, but I'm forced to move past my "two drunk farm kids dragging a gate section" theory. Perhaps just new tractor GPS technology?

One of the most famous British crop circle investigator guys (I can't recall his name at the moment) used to promulgate the opinion that the vast majority of the circles were definitely of alien origin. But after 30 years and a purported visit to his home by some spooky Men In Black men, he's now backtracked and claims that only 5% of the circles are truly "unexplained". He now holds the view that these are oddments caused by dimensional rifts. An effort to communicate with the earth via ley lines or something.

Someone would like to have a few words and correct him about his "dimensional rifts" theory.
