I usually try one, or a combination of the following:
Experiment with cooking a new dinner
Try new/hole-in-the-wall restaraunt
Try some new wine
Try some new beer
Watch/buy new comedy specials
Go on a 'spirited' motorcycle ride (weather permitting)
Play guitar; learn new song
Play with my dogs/take them for a walk/go to the dog park etc.(they're funny little bastards)
Take 500 rounds and pistols to the gun range (Speaking of which, I need to do this again!)
