The Associated Press reports the Kansas City Chiefs have shown interest in free-agent RB Kevin Jones (Lions).

This is a complete waste of time.

Jones does nothing that Kolby or Jamal Charles couldn't do.

Making a move like this likely forces Smith on the Ray Farmer list in August.

Yeah,im kinda confused as to why we need to bring him in.... If anything he should go to the Bears,whee there is a good chance he could end up starting there

Kind of ironic the Lions picked Jones with our first round pick back in 2004 in the infamous Junior Savii and Samie Parker deal.

The only thing I can see it as being a benefit is Smith has some FB experience.

Derrick Blaylock? Haven't heard anything about him in a year or two after he went to the Jets.

I would be kinda pissed if they picked this guy up. We got some nice young talent to step in, and he's not uber good, so send him to Chicago.
