On a scale of 1-10, how gross is the following situation?

I was in the restroom at work (about 1500 people work there) when I witnessed the following: a guy comes in the restroom, inexplicably waits for a particular stall to open (there was another stall vacant). When the occupant of that particular stall came out the guy that was waiting goes in and comes right back out with a soft drink then left the restroom with it.

I'm guessing he left the drink in there earlier and was coming back to retrieve it. Keep in mind that this was not a closed bottle or can; it was a large cup with a plastic lid and a straw. First of all, why would anyone take their soft drink into the restroom stall and, more importantly, why in the hell would anyone want it back after it was in there with some random guy crapping next to it?

Semi-gross, but not absurdly gross. It's not like the other guy took a crap in his drink. I'm not sure I would do that, but I would certainly give it a sliver of thought.

It's more lame than gross (too cheap to buy another friggin soda?), but it's still pretty gross. I gave it a six. On the lame scale, it gets a 10. Maybe the guy had poured a bunch of vodka in it or something, but still.... :shake:

EDIT: Actually, the vodka thing makes sense. This seems like something an alcoholic would do.

The only acceptable excuse for this would be if he left the cup in there so his buddy could pee in it for a drug test. Since that doesnt sound like what was going on i'd say thats pretty f'n gross. 7.5
