2nd video attempt: A tribute to Carl Peterson (NSFW-language)

Well, practice makes perfect, and I have a LOT of practicing to do - but I'm having some fun while doing it. I'm finding it's difficult to edit music pieces together - as well as working with still shots.

I appreciate the comments, compliments and criticisms I received for my first video, "Requiem For a Gopher" which can be found here:

I think you'll enjoy this one more, as it's a ChiefsPlanet-style tribute to the LTGMIPS, our own Carl Delano Peterson.

And there's a guest appearance by two ChiefsPlanet icons early on.

For that version, I used Adobe Premiere Elements.

Clayton turned me on to Camtasia (free 30 day trial, plus I can get it at school 50% off) and it's MUCH more user friendly.

I'll have a revised version done with Camtasia posted later this evening.

Usually I just use virtualdubmod to slow down the framerate of a clip I want in the video. Very handy and powerful FREE tool that helps me to "prep" a lot of clips for my video. Does a lot of stuff Camtasia won't.

Alternately, you can just put in a black jpeg to represent the extra time the clip would run when produced. That way your editing will still be in sync when you're putting it together.
