Flying has turned into a real drag all around.

The Airlines have horrible customer service. It takes forever to get through the TSA checkpoints. The TSA agents themselves are braindead.

Flights are always late, too many rules and regulations....fees...the list goes on and on and on......

Flying = a neccessary evil.

Most airports suck to be stuck in, and their "vouchers" aren't exactly helpful either if you have to stay overnight. I actually don't mind staying in the Dallas Fort Worth airport, but I avoid O'Hare like the plague.

Remember when you could just go to the airport, show them your ticket, and get on the plane? Letting kids in the cockpit? Everybody got peanuts?

And getting a direct, non-stop flight from a non-hub (in my case, Greensboro to KC). And getting a full meal (lunch or dinner) if you flew at the appropriate time. And people didn't wear their pajamas and fuzzy slippers. And the seats weren't as narrow.

Flying used to be fun. Now it's like taking the bus.
