Perfect. Appreciate the life you're dealt and you will be happy. Also, they make a great egg and cheese sandwich with lots of mayonnaise.

They looked happy to me. I wish them nothing but wedded bliss. Nothing wrong with making it work with what you've got. Or you could always go $20,000 in debt putting on a big spread for people with whom you may or may not remain friends 10 years down the road.

that would not be the most expensive wedding i have attended.

i don't get it either. why not pay years worth of mortgage instead and have a less fancy party no one will remember through the beer goggles anyway

And I thought I did it cheap by getting married in Vegas. I wonder what it's like to be in a Waffle House sober.

Nothing says class like a bride with a ciggy hanging from her lips. About 22 seconds in.:shake:

You should definitely drop 30k on a party for your friends. The memories are priceless, especially for your groomsmen.

I think there is wide median between extravagant and ultra cheap. If you are going to do ultra cheap just go down to the court house and do it truly simple.

Thank you.

It is possible to have a relatively classy wedding on a small budget. No need to try to get on "Redneck Weddings".

It was out of their price range.

I suppose Waffle House is classier than McDonald's....but not quite as ritzy as IHOP.

We've been living together for over four years. We're poor together already. Haven't given much thought to pre-nups.

I try, but since I work full-time and go to school full-time it's not as perfect as I would like.

Ahh...see I misinterpreted Skip's meaning. We live in an apartment. Besides, it may sound idealistic, but I don't think we'll need to worry about that. He's my best friend as well as my future husband. I honestly feel like two halves of a whole.

Thanks. I gotta be the ugly sidekick...

With the hairstyle I sport, maybe the more appropriate analogy would be me being the Messier to your Gretzky.

I can't count how many times I've been told I resemble him...
