But you make the call

Herm Edwards directed offense

or

Paul Hackett directed offense

I think I would have to choose Hackett reluctantly.

At least Herm gives you better quotes.

The AFC West isn't exactly going to be a juggernaut this year.

They're brothers. It's the kiss of death either way.

Paul Hackett.

Dude got us to the AFC Championship game and a 13-3 season. He helped make Bono look good for about 3/4ths of a season.

He also helped develop Pennington.

he did what most wanted and promoted Solari
because Saunders wouldn't have stayed for any amount
take a change with Gailey instead of what's already been tried

He also helped develop Pennington. I am pretty sure we got there despite Hackett. You don't think Montana had anything to do with the run we had that year?

The Chiefs are an offensive flunky magnet.

....i already miss the Trent Green day's when we had one of the top 3 offenses for like 4-5 years in a row...in other words, i miss Al Saunders. St. Louis will look like the 03 chiefs pretty soon.

Please. The Rams are going through their own rebuilding project.

Herm > Linehan.

i just mean that with Al Saunders as OC the Rams offense will probably thrive. but i could see their defense not doing to hot for a while.

We'll see how Al does without Willie Roaf. I suspect the results will be similar to the last time he lacked Roaf.

I imagine their new LT... Long will be ok. NOT Roaf yet but...

I didnt say that. Of course Montana was the primary reason. Mainly because of last 2nd pass to Tim Barnett against Pitt.

Yes, Hackett deserves every bit of the criticism he recieves, but when he has a decent QB, he isnt all that bad.

A good QB will make any O-Coordinator look good.

See what having consistently good QB play will do for a team and O-Coodinator?

How did Saunders look in D.C. when he got uneven QB play??
