Having an incredibly hot sister. Good or bad?

I was flipping through the channels recently, and saw some "Making of the Fantastic Four" show for a few minutes. In one scene, Jessica Alba is wearing a skintight Fantastic Four suit, and she is on the ground after some type of superhero battle. The flaming guy comes up to her and says, "Are you okay, sis?"

It made me think about the advantages and disadvantages of having a sibling who is a scorchingly hot woman. Would this be good or bad? I presume that it would give you inside access to other scorchingly hot women, since they tend to run in packs. However, since there's some internal mechanism that makes people unattracted to their sisters, would it cause you to reject some scorchingly hot women because they look a little too much like your scorchingly hot sister? And would it cause you to get in more fights in high school to protect her honor, or would it give you entree into the "in" clique as everyone used you for access? Would you get less childhood attention from your parents as they fawn over the little beauty?

What do you think? Think about the entire life cycle: childhood, teen years, and adulthood.

well... hot girls normally hang around hot girls.... so most of her friends would probably be smoking hot.

So, that is a bonus.

Honestly, it depends on the age difference. If she's younger by more than 2 years it might not be too fun. If she's older by 1-2 years it would probably be extraordinary. If she were a twin sister, that might be ideal.

However, then you'd be hearing about it from your friends - probably more than you wanted to know.

I have some half siblings and one of my sisters, who is very close to me in age, happens to be very attractive. When we were teenagers she was a cheerleader and all her friends were good looking cheerleaders. I used to visit that side of my family in the summers and all her good looking friends were always hanging around the house or the pool across the street. I can say with certainty that having a good looking sister was a good thing. I enjoyed those summers.

But now that I'm old and married it doesn't do me any good at all. Besides, as far as I know she doesn't hang out with cheerleaders anymore.

I can't see too many drawbacks, if any. Although one of my good friends in high school had a hot sister that we were always perving on, and he would get bent out of shape and tell us we were sick for it, so apparently when they're YOUR sister you don't find them attractive. Or maybe the dude was gay, who knows. I haven't seen him for decades.

There is truth to that. I liked my sisters friends just fine when they were hanging out in the driveway but I liked them even more at the pool.

My sister is considerably older than me. There was nothing to be gained from any of her friends. However, her two daughters, my nieces, are only 2 and 3 yrs younger than I am. It was kind of a pain when we were kids, all of there friends were too young and annoying. But, when we all became adults the two or three year age difference was not a problem. I hooked up with several of their friends over time.

Or the group of scorchingly hot ones will include a single one pretty far down the other end of the spectrum who is constantly torn in an inner battle of gratitude for getting to hang with the "popular" group and deep, seething jealously.
