View Full Version : Chiefs There are three rookies in the NFL left that are unsigned.

#8 overall Derrick Harvey, a rookie DE for the Jaguars, has not been signed. Neither has #9 overall Keith Rivers, OLB for the Bengals.

The third? #239 overall pick Mike Merritt, TE (I would assume) for the Chiefs.

I know he's injured, but surely we here at the Planet can think of some good hypothetical arguments a belligerent Merritt would make in stiff-arming his way to a mediocre contract.

you can only have so many players in camp. If one of your picks CANT even practice and participate anyways, why not use the spot to evaluate another player.

His agent isn't going to let him sign until Harvey and Rivers ink deals so he knows what the bracketing shapes up to be.
