Anyone know of good sites to get torrents. Do any posters here create/seed them?
I used to do it and then GOCHIEFS took over. Probably have to beg to get some people to help seed the older stuff but I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get this season's games pretty easily. GOCHIEFS, you gonna do that again this year?

Yes. Preseason will be my testing ground for my new USB capture device on my laptop.
I capture at DVD resolution, but the files are about 4 GB, so just be ready.

I'll be a customer. I'm in Korea where the games are on at 0200 hours and AFN will probably only show 2-3 Chiefs games the whole season.

Only got 2 cheifs games on tv last year, with the way they are looking this year I dont think we will even get 1.

One thing I will say is if you want torrents back, I need help finding a laptop capture device. I am not sure what I'm using this year. This is what I have in mind now:

:( Go to www.utorrent.com (http://www.utorrent.com)
and download the torrent client. Read about port forwarding process. You may/maynot need to do it depending on firewall etc.

Thanks for the info....I have about 50 older games on DVD and am always looking for more....I am looking for a couple games from 2002-2004, and thought I might find some torrents here that had a couple seeders, esp. if they were on Demonoid, etc.
I did find a great site for NFL torrents. It is private, and they are strict, but tenyardtorrents.com has several KC games.

I will be leeching pretty bad. I'm in Kuwait and my connection here is terrible most of the time. Seed for me since I won't be able to see the games over here :(

Just want to start by saying thanks for posting the preseason torrents, will love watching them. But I guess my question still remains as to where are you going to post the torrents. Just asking in the hopes they don't go to some private tracker or anything.

Last year I used ten yard torrents. You have to register, but that's it.

Great, love ten yard torrents, double checking my status there as I don't visit in the off season. And yes, have to register, but is a good site, don't have to worry about stats (it takes me forever to build stats as uploading sux here in Mexico). Thanks for the info, and look forward to seeing the preseason.

Sorry, I didnt meen to imply that you did. I felt like if I can help I want to or even just as a thanks to the man who enables me to watch a majority of the games where I normaly wouldnt be able to.

One more thing about Ten Yard Torrents, you have to register twice basically. Once for the forums, where it lists the different torrents available for download, and once for the tracker that actually carries the torrents. I forgot about it until I started trying to download the HOF game, and then it asked me to sign in again....just a heads up.

The cats may very well have been fans, but it doesn't change the fact that they were still screaming....
Not unbearable audio, but for as good as the video looks, the audio is a letdown....

Much much much better. Slightly "tinny", but if I hadn't been specifically listening to audio quality, I wouldn't have noticed. I'd say that would work just fine.

To me downloading games from last year would be like watching the videotape of my last headache.
Seriously Clay, that looks awesome. The sound is pretty damned good and way better than all my old tapes. (which I threw away in a fit of rage after the Jets game last year, and instantly regretted it).
It's time for me to start up my collection again I guess.
