That stuff used to be everywhere.
I know silly string is still funny when properly applied, but I miss string cheese.

I go through a big bag of it every week. So I don't know why you ask what happened to it.
Dinny, I assume you don't have any young children.
String cheese is alive and well.

As for the bathroom issues, the beer and jalapenos balance it out.

I love cheese, just not string cheese. I don't know why. I developed a taste aversion to it when I was in Wisconsin one summer.

It used to be sold in every bar I played in. There was boxes full of it right next to the beer nuts, and the jars of pickled eggs and pig's feet.
When I was a kid, I was running sound for this band, and this drummer that played for them, (who is one of the best shuffle drummers I have ever seen), left the band to be a string cheese distributor. Said he was gonna be a string cheese tycoon.
I honestly didn't know they still made the stuff.

If you ever see Oaxaca cheese - just try it. It's like the original version of string cheese before someone decided to straighten it and remove all the flavor.

Still make string cheese. Trust me, the amount my two kids (6,2) eat is absolutely sickening. They love that shit. Nasty little fucks.
