There's football talk going on now.

Well if you want to call it football.

heck yeah, only 2 NON FT's on the first page. Thats a change. Everyone whining about the sky falling is not a change though.

Yes, that's an improvement.
I commend the Planet.

I called it.

Once the season got close, this place was going to become the Whinery.

I'm streaming it over the internet.

Its bad, but I'm not worried. This is a 5-11 rebuild year. 16 preseason games.

Its more fun to win, but we'll have to settle for a handful of close losses and few good bounces to win 5 games.

I am honestly expecting a possible 0-16 season. We are that bad, and our coaching is even worse.

The total abysmal showing tonight does not encourage optimism.

No way. 3 guys with head coaching experience on the staff, that's not the problem. the problem is we flushed a LOT of vets and are auditioning a LOT of raw rookies who are over their heads right now.

Give Miami some credit, too. They look fired up.

I will say our back up OL makes me long for Jordan Black.

Just because they have experience doesnt mean they're good. Chan Gailey is decent at best, Herm is horrible, and Gunther sucks without 5 pro-bowlers.

So you think the Chiefs should still holding on to the old players of yesteryear?

Not necessarily. However, rebuilds require a ton of patience and some long range vision. This is a team that will compete in 2010.

I agree with you.

This is a team that will compete in 2008.

Not for a playoff spot, mind you, but we'll see the early results of a solid foundation.
