Who will be the coach/GM next year?

I don't know how anybody could think that Herm Edwards will not be the coach next year and that either Carl Peterson, or one of his current minions, will not be GM.

This year is a totally free year. They have made poor choice after poor choice and effectively bought themselves this free year. They hitched themselves to Brodie Croyle, but will blame his ineffectiveness on the surrounding players, who themselves, are developing. They will go out and get a new QB this year (and if they do it in the draft, they will effectively buy themselves another wasted year).

They have made this situation such that we can go 0-16 (and we might well do so) but they can effectively say that "everything is going according to plan."

It's really a genius strategy they have.

I just mentioned in another thread, but I'd like to have someone like Steve Spanoulo.

Came up in Philly under Andy Ried, won a Super Bowl with the Giants.

I think the Chiefs need to start fresh and with Cowher, they'd continue to rehash the past.

And furthermore, for the millionth time, Cowher was a raging disappointment in Pittsburgh. With his defenses there, they should have won at least 4 Super Bowls. Instead, they won only ONE. Why? His stubborn attitude towards QB's.

The Chiefs certainly don't need that bullshit again.

I just want a gm that knows how to build a team. Making your team up of all free agents or all draft picks isn't the way to go. You need a mixture, something Carl doesn't believe in

Clark can hide behind the "we are rebuilding through the draft" smokescreen to avoid being aggressive in free agency until the renovations to Arrowhead are complete and he can maximize the increased revenue sources.
