The story on Sippio is that he doesn't get separation with the defensive backs. That might be a fact, but something you really have to notice is that every time he gets a chance to play he makes the plays.

The TD was one of those plays that takes hands, Sippio has great hands. He can catch the ball in traffic, he is not fast but he is tough. In zone coverage he is really good at finding the seam.

I hope he makes the team and gets to play more than special teams.

I did expect to see something... ANYTHING from Devard Darling.

The guy was just handed a starting job. Did he catch a pass this pre-season?

If he did, I missed it.

I hope like hell, he's as good as advertised.

I'm fine with Will Franklin in the slot. Not saying he should be the #2 WR.... but this Darling guy seems to be a myth.

At this point Price seems a better option.

I don't have a dog in the hunt. Nor a ferret, a bladder fish, or one of those speedy little wilderbeast buggers being chased by famished lions through the tall grass, Mr. GoChiefs. I'm sincerely curious about what's going on.

I don't doubt your statement that Darling's going to be the number two guy. I just can't figure out why ... I mean, given the fact that he's been invisible in pre-season. Sure, they might be giving him more PT if they were concerned. On the other hand, one would think they'd actually like to see him catch one of those actual football things in one of those actual football games.

As for SIPPIO!!!, you have to write his name in all caps with three exclamation points or else it doesn't count. I don't know what you have against him. Sure, he missed a couple, but the guy puts in full effort and, once he gets over his nerves, the spidey hands would come in pretty darn handy on 3rd down once in a while. Plus he has a nose for the endzone. Nobody know touchdowns like SIPPIO!!!.

He's nervous, Ms. luv. As anyone would be with so much on the line. In a way, it's a good sign because it demonstrates that he wants to make the team and help us win a championship which he will do if given the opportunity because SIPPIO!!! is, without doubt, the greatest wide receiver of all times.

Bowe
Franklin
Price

Then who? I didn't see anything at all from Darling... very little from Webb...

I know it doesn't work quite that way... but I do think the guy could come in handy in certain situations.

I was rooting for Sippio after the first game, but in games 2 and 3 he showed his hands aren't as good as what a lot of people (myself included) thought. A guy like that has to have hands of glue in order to stick and I think those 2 drops will weigh heavier in the decision process than his TDs.

Thing is the cheifs use their TE alot. Some teams dont use their tight ends as much and the need for a possesion reciever is therfore alot bigger. We dont really have that need so the only real useful place for Sippio would be in the redzone. KC could be trend setters with keeping a "Red zone only" reciever but I doubt its worth using a roster spot for.
