That's what Herm does when he sees someone quit. It's a well known fact that Captain Sisko mentored under Herm. Did you know that Sisko NEVER quit?

Err, that's what some geek told me.

We're going to win a Super Bowl because Herman ****ing Edwards has learned how to talk like a coach?

Hell, he can't even get that right.
Vince Lombardi said better.

"Quitters never win, winners never quit."

Thanks Herm ****ing Edwards.
You appear to have laid a pretty solid foundation for the next guy, who might actually know how to manage games.

God ****ing DAMN IT why is this guy the coach of my team?

Just like this horse****er quit on his QB in the Indy game?
Just like his ENTIRE TEAM quit on him shortly thereafter?

This sack of shit can spout BS all the hell he wants, but he too is a quitter as much as anybody else. You play to win the game...BULLSHIT. You play to have the other team LOSE the game. Goddamnit. Go the **** away! Compete against yourself and leave it all out on the field. What the **** ever.

Clearly?

I don't have any research to justify anything ... I just didn't think there was any clear-cut choice. Herm took the Jets to the playoffs 4 out of 5 years, i thought that meant something. Granted, he still hasn't taken KC anywhere with "his" players ... Next year is his year. If they don't make he playoffs next season, i will stop believing his is a good coach.

In other words, you saw a mediocre coach, whose record was much the same in his first five years as the mediocre coach that the Chiefs had in the 90s, and rather than take a risk and hire a youg guy with a fresh approach, you were content with the idea of returning to the days of mediocrity.

Say what you will about Herm, but his humanitarian contributions to both KC and his hometown areas make him a winner in my book. His coaching abilities have NOT won me over yet, but I'm rootin' for him.

Don't you mean a Moral Super Bowl? ...to go along with all of our moral playoff wins, moral touchdown passes, and moral great-offensive-line-blockings? If winners never quit, I guess most of us, except Barry Sanders, have won a Super Bowl. Go me!

Seriously though, great message for the target audience, which I'm hoping is all of the 7-14 year old boys who tune into the NFL network..... for real life where trivial things like "the score" matter, not so much.

No the Jets sucked because Sperm left that team after he ran them into the dumps. Mangini got them into the playoffs in his first year and is in the process of DE-HERMING the team.

We'll see if Herm feels like a WINNER when people QUIT coming to Arrowhead and Clark sends his ass down the river.

Then Herm can have the job he's really been applying for over the last six years, a sportscaster with ESPN.

Technically, you could argue that Mangini went to the playoffs with "Herm's team" since they went in the first year. But your point still stands that if he drafted so well a major rebuild would not be necessary after year 2.
